The Womens Hospital, Surrey Hills

Crown Street Women's Hospital was once the largest maternity hospital in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

A beautiful mix of copper and lead work recently finished by the boys at The Womens Hospital in Surrey Hills. The hospital was one of several stand-alone maternity hospitals in Sydney, none of which remain. It opened in 1893, and was closed in 1983.

Custom lead weatherings & capping on the existing pelmets adding to the restoration of this project.

Plus the brilliant custom made copper dome hood installed right at the top of this historic building.
